The Czech Curling Association is pleased to announce and sponsor the Annual Olympic Hopes, a tournament taken place regularly in the curling arena in Prague – Roztyly.
The tournament is available for all players born on 30.6.2002 and later (with no exception).
Teams: maximum of 16 teams. Each team has to consist of 4 players and a coach (eventually 1 or 2 alternates as well). All the players should be from the same club or from the same country.
Registration: each team has to fill in a registration form. Questions and inquiries might be addressed as indicated below up to 16.1.2017.
Entry fee: 5.900,- CZK or 220,- EUR per whole team (max. 5 people). The charge allows teams to participate in the tournament, beside it includes stay at Globus Hotel (two double rooms or one quadruple room and one single room/ one triple room and one double room / one five-room from 10.3.2017 to 12.3.2017), breakfast at Globus Hotel, hot meals at the restaurant in the curling arena (two dinners on Friday and Saturday and two lunches on Saturday and Sunday).
The charge has to be paid either by cash in the arena during the first day of the tournament or through the bank transfer on the account of the Czech Curling Association. If there are any bank charges connected with the payment either from your or our bank, they will be paid by your side. If not the corresponding money will be collected the first day of the tournament.
Playing system: games are played for 6 ends without a time limit. Each team plays 4 games at least. The concrete schedule will be sent to the teams by an e-mail after the number of participating team is known (after 23.1.2017).
It is supposed that first games will start on Friday afternoon, and the end will be around 14:00 on Sunday.
